Right now our primary form of exercise comes from the C25K program. Right now we are at the start of week 8. Without a doubt we have come a long way. I can vividly remember huffing and puffing during the first weeks trying to manage two or three minutes at a time. Now I’ve done 25 minutes nonstop. Thank God for my husband who sacrifices speed and longer distances to see me through to the end of each workout. We are definitely not fast, but our endurance is increasing! We jog at about a fifteen minute pace outside.

We are also preparing for Chalean Extreme over the next couple of weeks and expect our official day one to be around the first of July. (Right now we might do strength training once or twice a week, but will increase to at least three days a week when we officially start CE).

Other than the above forms of exercise, we also enjoy activities with our kids such as walking, biking, playing the Wii, and playing basketball.

Update - July 10, 2013

We are C25K graduates and have begun Chalean Extreme. We are working out five to six days a week with 3 running days and 3 CE days. We hope to do a 5K race by the end of next month.

Update - November 2013

We are embarking on a nine week training with Shaun T. We are doing INSANITY!
